Dr. Len Keever - Senior Pastor
Dr. Len Keever is a native of Black Mountain, North Carolina. Following 12 years of secular employment in social work and sales, he accepted the call to full-time pastoral ministry. Earning degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and The Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Keever served churches in Indiana and Virginia before coming to First Baptist in 2003. Len credits his experiences prior to entering the ministry as a powerful asset in helping him understand the importance of faith in the every day lives of church members.
Sara Williams - Minister to Families & Outreach
Originally from Richmond, VA, Sara Williams with her husband Mark moved to Johnston County, NC in 2003. Sara holds an undergraduate degree from Meredith College in Social Work and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. She is currently working to finish her Masters of Divinity from The Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond. Sara has worked in various positions serving children and families through her work with Social Services, YMCA, and Johnston County Schools. Sara and her husband Mark most recently served as missionaries to South Africa through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. They have two children, Elijah and Hannah.
Chuck Allen - Music Director
Chuck Allen is a native of Dunn and First Baptist Church. Chuck has two Masters degrees in Music from East Carolina University and a Bachelors of Science in Music Education from Campbell University. He recently retired as a High School Band Director for 37 years in North Carolina public schools. He has always felt the call of God on his life from his first days as a child at First Baptist in Dunn and has been involved in music ministry of some kind his entire life. His wife, Lisa, teaches Elementary Music at Benson Elementary where his son Matthew attends school.
